The Department of Physics & Astronomy has partnered with the H.R.MacMillan Space Centre to bring you some stellar ASTRO outreach for the whole family!
Join us at the H. R. MacMillan Space Centre on the last Saturday of the month for Space Camp Saturday! This is a hands-on boot camp into hot topics in space science. Each month brings a new theme—from space exploration to special relativity, presented by our faculty, graduate researchers, and lab scientists from UBC. Families can enjoy interactive talks, demos, and activities designed to spark curiosity for all ages.
We’re delighted to work with the Space Centre to promote their educational offerings and bridge together the connection between community learners and active research happening right here in British Columbia. Together, we’re inspiring the next generation of thinkers, explorers, and scientists.
