Summer Camps

As part of UBC’s response to the situation with COVID-19, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Phenomenal Physics Summer Camps. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes to the families who registered, and we will be issuing refunds in early May.

In an effort to mitigate the effects this cancellation will have on our summer resources, we have been working on creating online resources for physics education. Starting this week, we will be posting an online physics design challenge every two weeks – more information on this can be found on the webpage. We invite you all to participate in this fun challenge!

Does your child enjoy building things or learning about cool science stuff? Always wonders why and asks about how everything works?

Then our Phenomenal Physics Summer Camps are the perfect fit!

Come build planes, go SCUBA diving, learn the physics of sound, build a telescope or a cardboard boat. We offer camps appropriate for children from Grade 1 to 9; each 20-student camp is led by a certified teacher, an undergraduate student, and 2-4 high school volunteers
