Every two weeks, the Outreach Program will be sharing a physics or astronomy challenge that students can do at home. These activities are meant to be fully self-guided by students above grade 8, but could also be completed by younger children with the some assistance from parents and teachers. Each activity consists of a general introduction, summaries of physics concepts, videos, and online experiment simulations to support students’ learning experience. All ages are welcome to join!
During the two-week challenge period, UBC physicists and astronomers will be available to answer questions from participants. You will also be able to submit project designs or videos, which will be featured on our website and on social media! Check out the @ubcphasoutreach on instagram to see other participants projects. Follow us or check back here for updates and new challenges.
