The Faraday Show is UBC’s annual science lecture, designed for children, presented by UBC Physics & Astronomy. This year this show will be full of special effects, music performances, and fun physics! We can hear sound and music at concerts – can we actually see sound and vibrations? What do they look like? How do different instruments work, and how can we make music as loud as possible? And, can you create lights of different colors on stage? We will explore these questions, and more, through fun demos and hands-on activities. This show is for children of ALL AGES, and adults who are young at heart!
MAKE IT A FULL DAY ON UBC CAMPUS! Mention “Faraday Show” at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum to get 50% off admission 10am – 5pm on December 11.
