WHEN: SUNDAY, December 4, 2022, 2:00-3:30 PM

The Faraday Show is UBC’s annual science lecture, designed for children and presented by UBC Physics & Astronomy students, faculty and staff. This year’s theme will feature the physics of water and transportation through wet, splashy, icy, bubbly and pressure conditions! Why do some things float on water and other things sink? How do we propel ships and why do they sometimes crash? Why do submarines have to be super strong?! We will explore these questions and more through demonstrations and hands-on activities.
