Below are listed the exams (with solutions) from previous years. Click on the year of your choice to view an exam or solution set. Passwords are required to view the solutions: the intent is for you to work through the problems first.
To obtain password for viewing solutions
In order to obtain password for accessing CAP High School Prize Exams, you must request them by e-mail from capexam@physics.ubc.ca. Please include the word “password” in the subject line. Please do not send any other emails to this account, as it will not be read by anyone. This account is intended to respond to requests for passwords only. Please note that there is an intentional 24 hour delay in the response so that there is some time to work through the problems before the solutions are available, so don’t fret if you don’t receive a response immediately.
As of 2024, the CAP Exam and solutions are available in one document, without password protection.
